RECONNECT

Feel deeply connected to & inspired by your person as you move forward through grief.

Join the 2 hour workshop experience + a BONUS 2 week supportive online group for more connection and deeper integration

(because I want more time with YOU!)

(Open to all types of losses)

This experience is for you if:

  • You have ever felt like moving forward means leaving your person behind (not true!)

  • You’re looking for practical ways to maintain a sense of deep connection with your loved one (you’ll walk away with multiple)

  • You would love a space to talk openly about this idea without judgement & with like-minded grievers

What you'll learn:

  • Staying connected

    Understand Continuing Bonds

Learn how bereavement theory has changed from "letting go" to finding ways to continue a relationship (and how that actually helps us cope and rebuild!)

  • An ever-evolving bond

Explore 3 ways to connect to your person

Learn about 3 different pathways of connection (you don't have to be spiritual to gain from this conversation!)

  • Legacy

    Harness their legacy

Reflect on all the ways in which your person continues to inspire & guide you as you move forward in life after loss. Get clearer on how to bring them with you as you rebuild a meaningful life.

For those of us for whom the idea of letting go never felt right.

I have been working in the grief space for 4+ years now, running multiple group experiences & supporting humans in a 1:1 capacity every single week. I talk about, write, listen to and reflect deeply on the grieving process every single day. Although the grieving process is unique to the griever, I have noticed that there is one way of thinking about loss that brings comfort to the majority of the humans I sit with.

That is the concept of continuing bonds.

For those of us who do not subscribe to the belief that in order to move forward, we need to let our person go, this model of grief can bring peace, comfort and a path forward to the grieving heart.

I have hosted this experience to over 150 grieving people over the last 4 years and it has led to the most beautiful reflections and conversations.

I am hoping that it offers you the same.

(A recording will be made available if you can’t make it live)

About me:

Hi! I’m Marie, a certified Grief Coach and Death Doula who walks the path of healing with those who have suffered a profound loss. I specialize in creating brave spaces for humans to be seen, heard and witnessed in the fullness of their experience of loss. Spaces where they get to deepen their relationship to themselves in a way that promotes deep & lasting healing.

My approach is based on the assumption that you are the expert of your own grief and my work focuses on guiding you back home to yourself so that you can find meaning in your life in the “after”. Having lost my partner to cancer, my guidance and coaching comes from both education and personal experience which allows me to deeply relate to my client’s experience of grief and loss. I am the founder of Empowered Through Grief, a coaching practice and community that provides a brave space for healing and post-traumatic growth for humans grieving all types of losses.

My life’s work is to help normalize grief by engaging in difficult conversations surrounding death and dying. I believe that by getting acquainted with death, we learn so much about life itself.

In my work, I have had the privilege of supporting hundreds of folks through 1:1 coaching and group experiences. My work is trauma informed and respectful of your religious & spiritual beliefs.

I always say that I can’t live without my late partner and so I don’t.

Join me as we talk about how, although death might end a life, it doesn’t end a relationship.
